It came down to Kris Allen and Adam Lambert on the final show of American Idol Season 8. Allen, the religious boy next door vs the glam and very much gay Adam Lambert.
100 million votes later, we got to the result: Kris Allen won.
Apparently conservative America was more comfortable voting for the non-gay contestant, one who certainly has a lot of talent, but one that vocally at least wasn’t the superior choice.
Adam Lambert is now free to rock it! I predict sales-wise he will burn Kris Allen off the floor! Whoo Hoo!
